The Establishment Branch of the Divisional Commissioners Office deals with the following major matters :-

• Matters related to the powers vested at Divisional Commissioner level under Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti Act, 1961 and Mumbai Gram Panchayat Act, 1959
• Matters related to powers vested at Divisional Commissioner level in the establishment and service matters of employees in the Zilla Parishad service
• Service matters of the Maharashtra Development Service Group A and Group B officers in the Division.
