In a democratic system, people have an important contribution in development through decentralized planning. The work of collective thinking, discussion and guidance by the public is performed by the Gram panchayats at the village level, Pachayat Sammittees at the Taluka level, and Zilha Parishad at the district level.

Amravati Division has 5 Districts (Amravati, Akola, Buldhana, Washim, Yavatmal ) and 56 Tehsils (Amravati-14, Akola-7, Buldhana-13, Washim-6, Yavatmal-16).
There is also an effort to achieve social and economic goals with the combined efforts of public representatives, public servants and voluntary organizations. District decentralized system has an important role in the planning structure.
Districts
Amravati Division, also known as Varhad, is an Indian one of the six administrative divisions of Maharashtra state in India. Amravati and Nagpur divisions constitute the ancient Vidarbha region.
Amravati Division is bound by Madhya Pradesh state to the north, Nagpur Division to the east, Telangana state to the southeast, Marathwada region (Aurangabad Division) to the south and southwest, and Nashik Division to the west., Amravati Division is made up of Five districts which are as follows:

- Washim
- Yavatmal
